SGD-Social Security Journal is a nationally refereed journal published by the Social Security Institution twice a year, in June and December, since 2011.
SGD is published aim to contributing to the intellectual accumulation of our country by including studies in every field that may contribute to the discipline of social security, social policy and industrial relations within the scope of the Social Security Institution's work, to develop social security and social policy awareness in society, and to bring together future goals and expectations at a common point.
The publication language of the journal is Turkish and English. Submitted manuscripts must not have been published previously nor be sent for publication elsewhere. If the manuscripts are accepted for publication, SGD will own all publishing rights, including publishing them in digital media as full text. The responsibilities of the attitutes in the published articles belong to their authors and do not reflect the perspective of the Social Security Institution. Scientific studies published in Social Security Journal, in part or whole, may be used for educational, research and scientific purposes, provided that copyrights are reserved.
All manuscripts sent to the journal for publication are first reviewed by the Editorial Board in terms of relevancy of journal’s principles. Manuscripts found suitable are referred to two independent referees working in relevant fields. The names of the referees are kept confidential. If one of the referee reports is positive and the other is negative, the article may be forwarded to a third referee or the Editorial Board may make a final decision based on the reports. The "double-blind peer review system / double-sided blind review system " is applied during the evaluation process of the papers.
